Khichdi Recipe Step by Step With Photos
Step 1 :
First, to make khichdi recipe, take one cup of rice and one cup of split mung beans (moong dal) in a bowl. Then, wash them thoroughly with two to three changes of water.

Then, heat three to four tablespoons of oil in a pressure cooker.
Step 3 :
Once the oil is hot, add about 1 tablespoon of asafoetida (hing), whole cumin seeds (1 teaspoon), and a paste of ginger and garlic.

Then, add chopped tomatoes to khichdi recipe and sauté the tomatoes for three to four minutes until they become soft.

Then, once the tomatoes are cooked well, we’ll add chopped green chilies and mix them well.

Then, we’ll add chopped potatoes to it and mix well, followed by adding half a cup of green peas, and mix them again.
